just as a matter of discussion isnt the be apc too similar to the afv? sein as how nf lites an apc are totally diff?
Wheels are a dead giveaway. not hard to seperate, but they're too long in general. A breeze to fight when you get to their sides. The AFV should lose about 20% of it's butt (doesn't have the same carry capacity anyhow)
Yeah wheels are easiest way to tell. Anoying as comm though as sometimes I have to rotate/zoom to see.
As commander you get the text which tells is the vehicle AFV or APC even I think the picture is same for both currently.
you know when I look at them I know there's a difference but I still can't for the life of me tell you which one is which. APC has LESS armour, right?
You know... I didn't even know there was a difference... It has always been I drive up to something, if it shoots me with a cannon then its an afv, if its shoots a chain gun its an apc.
I've always looked at the wheels to tell them apart. Other than the wheels, there's no easily noticable differences
I always took em as the same threat so i spent as much effort into killing both, until i noticed people popping out every 10 seconds D:
wat made me think of this is the number of times ive run outta ammo's and seen an apc , run over to it , jump in an Hey its broke its not givin me ammo'z .... Doh its an AFV, quietly sneaks off hopeing noeone notices the shame...........................
Heh, the AFV wasn't originally planned. BE did not have a Light tank equivalent until late in development. What duke did was reuse the APC model and stick some tracks under it. Works quite well. It shouldn't matter too much as mediums should be a priority for BE.
