If I'm reading the forum right, Krenzo is the only "coder" working on Empires... So... I'm going to ask... Are you interested in having another coder (e.g. me) work on Empires?
I tried to apply, but Krenzo doesn't trust anyone younger then 18 because of a previous incident when some jackass posted his code all over the net. If you are 18 or older, all the power to ya!
You may want to post what your exp is - I'm unsure if Krenzo is interested or not - that's for him to post - but knowing ones background and knowledge helps.
Someone posted the source everywhere? What a <insert really offensive word here>. Did he ever find out who did it? IMHO, Posting a programmer's source code without their consent is pretty much the lowest thing you can do... That's even worse than having a fellow clan member / team mate stab you in the back...
Wasn't there also a thing where this kid said he knew how to code, but could only change the colour of missile trails?
m00tant is selling the entire EMP source code if you've got enough $. I sent him $500 for the section of code that plays the "aaaahhh yyeeaarrr" taunt.
That was the same kid who stole the code. He had also stolen credit card numbers and tried to donate something like a million dollars to Garry of Garry's Mod.
rofl but how did he get credit card details? Did he hack your computer or something? 0o Also good job on volenteering!
Give him a serious spanking then a stern talking to with a hint of an incredible beating which may leave his arms crippled. Nothing works better then some sores plus the idea that you might get more to remind a child that what he did was wrong.
Wait, Hold on. General1337 was the guy that released the sourcecode, not the same guy that got garry's paypal frozen. I came across General1337 in another community (not a Source Community) before I remembered who he was, and hes not that bad of a guy. Hes an asshole to dumb people (who isnt), but not dumb.
No, He's just an asshole. And not too smart either, for trusting me I was trying to get admin acces on his network and SVN, so I could delete the sourcecode, I got real close, but he failed at setting up a proper account for the SVN. He was paying servers off of a stolen credit card number from his neighbours, I hope that whoever found his home address fucked him over good about that.
