currently, the ideal classes for handling walls are engineers (tool) and grenadiers (mortar). this capability should be extended to rifleman and scout by the following means: - rifleman sticky grenades should do ~40-60% damage to walls on contact. - scout should be able to climb walls. this changes up the varies the pacing of infantry combat with walls and it allows a variety of ways of overcoming obstacles similar how all classes can counter turrets (scout sabotage/concussion, engineer seismic grenades, gren explosives, rifleman grenades/stickies).
sticky nades suggestion is too powerful and asfaik scouts were supposed to be able to climb walls in the original design document
it's only that powerful when you factor in an ammo box. otherwise rifleman can kill a built wall, then breach.
And if you have an ammo box, that means you probably have either an Engineer or an armory. Since an armory can lead to an Engineer, and Engineers mean death to all walls, then in any case it's not overpowered because Engineers are overpowered. Overpowered at killing walls.

Stickies and grenades are already pretty effective against walls, as are tanks, and basically anything explosive. It's not like there is any shortage of engineers or tanks in the game.
if that's one of the things you guys have had for so long, can you guys also give us script manifest cause I bet you guys trololol in DEV TS or watever you use and not publish that shit.
Is there something mentioned about buildable trenches and tunnels connecting buildings? A memory from very far seems to come up to me.
it would be epic if scouts could teleport through walls. not saying that this should be implemented. but can you imagine the awesomeness of that?
