I have been playing Empires for about a year now and I feel this game is the one I've been looking for a long time (I thought it was Battlefield 2142 but it just doesn't compare to the depth of game play Empires provides) I understand that the Devs (at least so they say) will be finishing up with 2.25 then going to do their other projects. But even after that is released we still have to get a few things done such as improving models as most of them look pretty basic to me at least. Minor script tweaks can be done easily by the community also. I have a few questions regarding after the Devs fully leave development. 1. What community groups will continue development of Empires? 2. Will we just throw out Aircraft? 3. Will server owners still keep the servers up? 4. Will there be any clans disbanded very soon? If you could answer my questions that would be great. PS. I will stay playing this mod until there is absolutely no people playing it

Well added some day not anytime soon I do realized the problems aircraft will bring. I'm sure someone knows how to model who plays Empires.
Aircraft need coding and lots of balancing and lots of modelling and animation in order to even be passable, you need a dev team to implement aircraft, don't have a dev team, don't get aircraft.
