Advertise Empires

    I'm just wondering how to go about advertising for empires? I want a bigger group of players and I have no idea how to expand the player base. How do other mods accomplish this? It's been so long since I started that I forgot how I learned about it.

    actually, emp is one of the larger groups i've seen.synergy is prolly the only other one i know of that's bigger. "only one i know of"

    I always advertise Empires whenever someone asks me what games I play.

    Every time we get a (decent) update, I spam announcements on the CS group.

    From the 100k people that hear about 200-500 try out.

    Ill advertise empires when 2.24 comes out, I don't want them to think
    "Wow this isnt that great , its very unbalanced, I will never try this again"

    best way to advertise empires:

    release a version that sucks less dicks than 2.12

    the "FUCK YES YOU ARE THE BEST MOD EVER" word of mouth takes care of everything else

    Don't think of advertising on 4chan, last time someone did that [Chopper] happened. Resulting in the first hardcode bans ever.
    (Was SGT.MIKE hadrcode banned? If so then the choppers weren't the first to be hardcode banned.)
