Thirty shots for a standard cannon is honestly a bit low, especially given how weak it is. Perhaps we could add a spare 30 shots for it? Now, the perfunctory pro con list: Pros: Would encourage more people to drive early game tanks as a grenadier Would encourage more people to drive early game tanks in general Cons: I can't think of any right now; it'd fuck up balance in some mysterious way somehow?
Eww, I like it just the opposite way. No clips, reload individual shots, no clip reload time, no wasted shots (mag dumping 2.41). But whatever floats your boat, bro.
That's not a terrible idea. In the early game when those weapons are likely to be used, there won't be as many support buildings like armories or repair pads.
But early game is when there should actually be more infantry floating about, who can drop you ammo boxes.
I love dropping ammo boxes, but it sucks now that the timer sticks at like 200s. I hate dropping a box for tanks and then having a gren ask me for ammo 20s later. I have to say, "Sorry bro, my box is on the other side of the map."
Yeah, I've noticed that ever since the timer became 200 seconds, I've become a lot more conservative with my ammo box placement.
It should be less than 200 seconds once you start gaining points. I think that's a bug, the same one that stops the amount of walls you can place going up, and the same one that stops you placing the extra turret. It's fixed in the next patch so I wouldn't worry.
That's good to hear. However, the issue of dropping ammo boxes for tanks in the early game still stand, as people generally are stuck at 30-40 points by the time mediums roll and tank ammo becomes far less relevant. Of course, if the time is reduced by 20 seconds per rank up, this might still be helpful, but I'll stop the conjecture and wait and see how things work in the next version.
