Can I make it so ONLY friends can see my friends list? Die is IMing people on my friends list to get to me, and I'd rather not subject my friends to his bullshit. I'm going to simultaneously lodge a complaint with Valve, but I doubt they'll do anything.
Yeah, go to your profile home, and set it so that it's only viewable to your friends. I had to do the same to get him to stop.
I had the same problem. I think he went through in excess of 100 of my friends. Eventually he ran out I think. But he even went through my RL friends, which was pretty annoying. Either way, by that point, it was pointless for me to do it anyway. But if you just set it so only friends can see your profile, there shouldn't be a problem. Also, Valve didn't do jackshit when I lodged a complaint ages ago. Not even a response.
So, some people are just people I played with in TF2 or something and friended/they friended me. Whatever. They don't know Die or even Emp, so the last thing I want to do is allow them to be exposed to him. I warn them off of him and they then block him. It's just fucking annoying and offensive that he thinks he has the right to bug people he doesn't even know. I'm not even active on here anymore so he has no reason to bother me. He should just fuck off already.
Stop lying. You don't have RL friends You just set your profile to private and you can't be talked to. Or add the guy and block him.
Btw, if that guy keeps harrassing many emp guys, just send a ticket with screenshots/evidence to valve. I know someone who did that when a certain guy was harrassing a bunch of my friends. That harassing guy got a 3 month ban from using the steam community alltogether
