well we are in the final countdown for Empires 2.0 after getting an inside look of the manuel and some game play vids it looks to be this game will keep me going for a long time, considering my comp can handle the game at all lol :p I made the thread to maybe get the game hyped up with a new thread other than the countown to 2.0 thread i know im gonna end up getting flamed in some shape or form so I made a flame sheild of smilies
I don't know what timezone they're using or what time they plan on releasing it exactly, but according to http://ehome.baselinux.net:8080/empiresmod/pages/countdown/ there's 7 hours left. And I'm not going to be able to play.. I'm moving and it turns out my new house needs some new reciever which I can't get for a week. .
one of the greatest things about empires is it works extremely well even on crappy computers.. i get like 2 fps when i play bf2 and then 40 with empires gotta love the source engine

yes yes But... the count down OTHER than the Press site count down is going by hours till the thirtyith The press Site is going by aproximite time till The Real realease (aka when the developers have a chance to) cause none of the Devs are gunna stay up till 12:01 to realease 2.0 cause they got otha jobs Excuse the El terrible spelling and grammer :p so basicaly the press site is right in a way but 22 hours from now it will be 3:57 PM EST so 4:00 PM
well any ways OMG not long till the realease Ive never played 1.07 (damn glad i havent) cause i heard 1.07 was Buggy and with that me being me would be like WTF!!!!1One so 2.0... Hella ya
1.07 was not all that bad... it ran nice on my new computer. Oh yeah and its already friday here.... 20 min into friday
well according to that count down it will be released at noon on the 30th where i live <pacific standard time (-8 gmt)> man i cant wait for full servers :D :D
Hmmmm maybe it would be nice after a short while (as in maybe a few weeks) to tell on the front page that other progress is on its way, not only aircraft which will probably take a while to implement all the way. But that work is well underway making new voices and maybe some other stuff ?

lucky for me I will actualley be awake when it comes out around 3-5 pm Eastern coast time of the US and A
