They are really all the same.

It's arbitrary that the first preset is named "Default" and it's the only preset by default.

When you build a tank, you must pass some preset to the game for that tank to be built. It just so happens that most players only use the preset named "Default" and they just keep changing it.

 

Ah true, I didn't really think of that.

To be honest, custom presets are interesting, but it's so highly dependent on the research available that I'm sure all but the most elite don't use it.

 

I wish the commander could design and edit a preset for each chassis and leave it at that.

The preset would obviously change as the game continued on, but the idea would be that it's a baseline for the most up to date configuration for each chassis.

Maybe some day.

 

Yeah, though I don't want a comm messing up any of my super l33t presets, what if he doesn't know how to make a good tank, huh?

I don't know how to save a preset help me
