Had a crash when getting into the cv on crossroads (had another commander and I was in alpha squad, immediate CTD when I entered cv)

Fuck you you gigantic cunt. Do you think this was the way it was meant to happen? Do you think we are that fucking retarded? Valve's tool flipped out on us and shat the patch out before we confirmed it, which we were planning to do tomorrow. It half-assed it and that's why we're in this situation. You should be fucking grateful we even put the time in when people like you just shit over the work put in.

Yes, but Freak deleted his post. I'm not letting that shit slide so I just copied in what he said. Honestly, I'm normally pretty calm, but I am absolutely at the end of my tether tonight, and I cannot be dealing with people being assholes like this. Not tonight. I will seriously ban without any hesitation, and that goes as far as every fucking server in the game right now. I will not put up with this shit. Not tonight.

 

When people put so many hours in, especially over the holidays they really deserve more patience and understanding. Its just a tad selfish to complain you can't get in game whilst there are lots of people working hard to minimise downtime under alot of stress.

Put the shoe on the other foot and just do something else for a couple of hours.

 

Always ironic the way the people that contribute NOTHING are the first to bitch and whine.

Well, i cant tell you that after playing like 4 pub matches, but it happened twice to diffrent slots. Same deal as always, you pick a skill and the game seems to ignore anything you have in that slot. Reconnecting doesnt help and neither does constant class swapping. Effect lasts at least to the end of the match. Thats all i can tell for now.

 

Beerdude mentioned having solved related problems. He might remember something of it.

 

As Jephir asked for more crashdumps i wanted to post some.....

But, i crashed 2 times in new version.
First while i was typing, got no error (but maybe because i just pressed space)

And second time simply when being in spec. Got "Not Responding" error.
But it isnt creating any crashdumps.

Is it possible that they are somewhere else? Or is that normal that it sometimes doesnt create them?

(checked common\empires and even the one in youraccount\empires and even source sdk 2007 folder)

 

destroyed apc model is using old texture
cyclo needs a vehicle clip

 

oh and that escort version is totally unbalanced
BE gets all the flags (except the last one) in no time
And the last one is really hard for BE

On epic servers there are heavys and carcass is dissapearing too long.
On viper there are no heavys and carcass is dissapearing quickly (which makes the difference on last flag...easyer for BE but still hard.

There was a round (almost full server) where in the first minutes BE got like 15 tanks on first flag at the same time....totally not possible to defend by NF...oh and BE can open the gate in first seconds so NF has no time to prepare

Completely non enjoyable for both teams

The alt4 version was much better

 

yeah now that carcasses are recycled I'll probably look at increasing the time they linger around on Viper. I noticed quite a few times tanks dissappearing too quick for me to repair my tank and recycle the carcass

 

Did you check: steamapps/ Your account name/ Source SDK Base 2007?

 

According to trickster, in another thread, the engineer getting the 2nd turret is broken (100 points and it didnt unlock), confirmed by someone else

 

on escort (!), it does work on other maps.

 

Also, yea, this version of escort is just terrible. 10 compo heavies with combined faggotry of instagib he and annoying bioml. Every spot that should be nf's strong point against tanks has a roof, making them deathtraps for nf rather than be.

Just no.

As for wookie, 2nd turrent doesnt work at all for me. Map doesnt matter.
