[2.25] Point system

    Since the damage reduction was implemented most kills
    are a team effort. No matter which class I play almost everyone
    I kill took damage bevor. (thx to the damage plugin its possible to see that)

    It would be nice to give assist kills.
    Like split points in 4 parts and give people a 1/4 point for every 25 damage
    they made if the enemy dies within, say 2 minutes.

    I like the concept.
    Don't like the idea of 1/4 points.
    I'd rather just 2 points for a kill, and if you caused 50% of the damage they took in the last 30 seconds, you share the points with the eventual killer.

    Or just award one point to everyone who helped.

    If you do 40 damage to someone and someone else does 60 that's about the same number of bullets, so you both get the point.

    You can award the usual two points to everyone who helped destroy a tank.

    I somewhat like this because my level 3 turrets tear enemies apart but I never actually see them dying on my screen.

    I have to pay for the ammunition y'know!

    damage based > kill based

    Also it probly promotes teamwork or something :P

    Actually i wouldn't make it count for turrets and their owners. Turrets hit almost everyone a bit before they can get into cover. Engineers would become point monsters

    I personally like the Assist system in Dystopia. If you do enough damage to an enemy and he is killed within a timer period, you get 1 point the killers get 2 points for kills. I believe it's only killer and top damager.

    Of course, this would require re-balance of points for ranks across the board. Since kills are worth 2 points.

    I would be careful of partial points. Keep things as whole numbers please. Integers are coders' friends.

    times everything to do with points by 10, then give fractional points. or big points. Killed a rax, have 20! Killed a turret, have 5! did over 40% damage to someone before they died, have 4 points. Then you could do things with tanks and tank assists and kills, solo a heavy and get 25 points, solo a jeep and get 5.
