The more playtesting we do, the faster we can find and fix crashes/bugs, the quicker we get 2.25 out.
There is a test in 3h from now. It's marked as "PUG IV", but Brutos requested that We find out which weapon causes the whole team to crash, so I think it's a priority to test all weapons in the game. The crash seems to occur when destroying buildings. It narrows guns considerably, but We can't be sure about it, so it may be that all infantry and vehicle weapons need to be tested to find it. btw, could whoever is uploading dlls upload the pdbs at the same time? We know it's a pain, but it's needed anyway if the game crashes. And it does.
Yeah that's what it's called, but in steam for some reason it's labelled as "Empires SVN", so I think that's why I can't find it, hence why I want the IP.
yeah i occasionally find i cant see it from the server browser as well so i just added it to my favorates and it shows up there fine. the ip is "64.237.43.197:27016"
Okay, but make sure you test this one tomorrow: List all weapons that have this effect, can you do it with engy buildings and walls, etc.
bugs to retest (and submit to mantis if they are still valid): - DU doing no damage to vehicles - bio ML not dealing damage over time also recheck tracers to ensure they'r all valid (test with shotgun, rifles and various vehicle MGs, other players need to see tracers You fire).
Some stuff got broke. From the test (rev 43): 1. Crash when trying to customize vehicles on emp_canyon 2. Mortar rocket isn't fired from perspective of someone viewing the gren 3. Still can trap friendlies with nades/mines 4. Tracers (mostly) work, but sometimes you can't see them (for infantry weapons) Couldn't test the vehicle stuff from the customize crashbug. All of this has been entered into mantis.
