[2.24] [Feedback] Plain armor and standard engine.

Feedback on the two here.

 

Plain engine is to good now, Bio diesel is a waste of a lot of time and money to research

 

Yeah, the fact you can drive overheated doesn't compensate for the fact that it's just like std engine.

 

I think dizzy said that bio engine will have its niche roll, maybe he was talking about drags new weapons? Although I did not see any weapons inside the bio tree that could be complimented by being able to drive while heated.

The siege cannon seems like it would be good with a bio engine though

 

I doubt he had my crap in mind. Also my crap aims at "It effing doesn't matter which weapon tree you choose, there is no correlation between bio engine and the bio weapons. Engine does not have to fit with the weapon tree.

 

Would still be cool if you had a cannon or missle that was complimented by the bio engine.
Since all the other engines are pretty much the same, just faster/better cooling

 

Maybe engines perform differently when hit by certain weapon types. Like explosive weapons give more heat to bio engines, etc. (maybe, who knows...)

 

We already have plasma doing its job-though ineffectively.
