[2.2] What's up with HDR

    I remember I used to have lag issues on StreetsOfFire, and someone recommended to turn off HDR. I did. I'm about 99% sure that it fixed the graphics lag.

    When I first loaded duststorm on 2.2, I noticed that the map was washed out from the lighting. Someone again said HDR was screwed up, and I turned it off, and it went back to the way it looks in 2.12.

    Are there any plans to fix HDR or take advantage of it? If not, can we disable HDR if it's not being used?

    HDR values are defined specifically for each map when the map was compiled. Some maps might be OK while others have the values set too high. I guess you could take pics and post map-specific mantis issues for maps where you think it needs adjusted.

    HDR is, for the most part, Map-specific.

    Duststorm defenatly needs to be looked at and fixed.

    However, the BE RPG is code side, and we just need to disable shadows from the vmodel.
