[2.2] Playtest, Wedensday, 4PM PST

We are going to do a playtest at 4PM PST on Wedensday the 8th.

This is going to be an assessment test, see where we are, what left needs to be done.

Also, if anyone has any experiance with the particle editor, send me a PM. Theres a few more particles that need to be moved over to the OB engine, and I would like to get that done before release.

We would like everyone, but don't exactly need everyone.

EDIT: Oh, we won't be playing with scaling.

 

Timezone conversion to GMT plz D:
I don't actually know what timezone I'm in because DST fucks it all up, when the clocks go back I'm GMT, now I figure I'm GMT + 1 unless the entire world moves forward.

 

Pacific Time is GMT-8:00 so that would make it midnight (12:00am) GMT.

 

Kylegar, could you post this event in empires testers group as well? I don't know in what timezone Steam thinks I'm in so I'd rather have someone in PST timezone do it.

About the playtest itself, It's a rather important one, it would be great if as many people as possible can make it to this specific one, including developers and contributors. The point is to be able to play classic maps with enough people to assess the overall game.

Depending on the amount of people that can be there we will decide how to go by playtesting, we might change some settings on the fly, which requires the map to be reloaded many times. Hopefully it can be an intensive playtest!

I think that's another one. That one has been there at least since yesterday. If it was the same event, dizzy wouldn't have said to schedule an event for this one.

We won't get a full server in the middle of the week when some of us have it starting at 1:00 AM.
I am not coming.

Advice: if it's really important, reschedule to Saturday.

 

Saturday is 100% A-OK with me.

 

It would either need putting 3 hours earlier so you get more timezones in, or rescheduling for Friday to be honest, its going to be virtually empty for you guys and I'd really like to attend
