2.0 Screenshots (stretchy thread)

some awesome shots there, lithium :D Would you be able to get some of streets of fire? My PC can't handle that level =/

How could your comp not be able to handle streets of fire but be able to run empires at that resolution?

but yeah, nice shots they dont show much fighting but I could see them being used as tutorial pics

ie: this is the Engineer (shows pic of engineer)

 

I was hoping to get some action shots tonight but people either ended the games within the first 10 minutes or just used APCs with anti armour MGs

 

only thing i dont like is that they generally focus on one team. it would be nice to see a neutral screenshot showing both sides of a battle instead of one.

important:

type "cl_drawhud 0" into console to get the best screenshots without any map in the corner. unless you want to show that the map is busy :p

 

uhm server cheats have to be on dont they for that to work? which is why Dee gets clear shots

 

No, all "cl_" commands should not require sv_cheats. There may be a few that need it on, but not much.

 

drawhud no longer requires cheats to be on but it does leave the top bar on. I get around it by changing resolution and joining a game so it gets screwed up and doesn't show
