Yes, they have just that much hitpoint, it takes nearly forever to build them or to detroy them and the bar is scaled wrong.
Like the others said, it just takes forever. That could be one of the things fixed in the next patch, scaling the bar correctly.
But as far as I understand the map-creator, it workes as intended (long buildtime because it gives you access to enemy and ressnode), but he forgot, that it also needs forever to be destroyed. He doesn't want to fix that. He only wants to scale the bar correctly.
Maybe the screenshot doesn't show it. The progress bar goes beyond the graphic for it, and when it gets to the end, it disappears. Now this may be the 3 times thing, but it should have some sort of visual indicator, and not go outside the progress bar boundary. IMHO.
Ehm...I did know exactly what you mean. And the creator of the map too. It's just, the bar is not scaleable. It's a known issue of Empires, not of the map. You get the same, when one of your teammates gets healthupgrade as skill and you're engi trying to heal him: the bar got beyond it's end. But nevertheless the ramps have way too much hitpoints.
It's not that they have too many HP, it's that the bar scales wrong. If they had fewer HP, the game would focus on raping the enemy from the south instead of grabbing res to the north.
It's just a bar issue as been said. I'd like to make ramps visible for enemy team in the next version. Water also need to be fixed, and there aren't prepared more changes.
I think the wood plank bridges need a slight amount of work to make them more even, flat. I was trying to drive a vehical over it when for some reason it got stuck because of a board that is uneven with the rest of the bridge.
Those bridges are models, they are very uneven but I placed on them a physic surface so vehicles shouldn't get stuck. Maybe there is some part not covered, but should be very hard to get stuck on them. But don't worry, I'll check it.
ok, I'm not dogging the map. It may be a bug in Empires, so if need be I can edit the bug title to reference Repair, not mvalley?
