1.07 -> 2.0

    Will people be able to simply install 2.0, over 1.07 without any problems or will 1.07 have to be deleted first?

    I suppose you could, but it's wiser to install it to a new directory.

    Can the installer be modified to detect (and possibly delete if necessary) a previous version of Empires?

    I installed the first 2.0 full installer over the 1.07 folder & no problems were encountered, hell you could even play some of the older maps like Badlands, as well as the custom maps that actually worked like Oasis. Not sure on the second 2.0 installer as I already deleted my 1.07/2.0 V1 folder. =o
