If anyone else crashed, could you check your /steamapps/yourname/source sdk base 2007/ folder for any crashdumps. Crash dumps should be for today and it should say something like ..._crash_2010_2_27T...mdmp If you have any, please send them to: empiresbugs@gmail.com
If you are too lazy to open your email client or post in the bugtracker. First: Go fuck you. And second, post it at least in this thread, before you don't post it at all.

I think I speak for the current dev team when I say Include the svn revision number of the crashing version or be castrated.
bugtracker doesn't work, at least for me. Engine sound keeps looping after someone gets out of it. This is very annoying. 2slot DU mounted on an be apc, I was shooting a nf lt. Took a whole mag at the front, it had like 10% damage (might been from something else). Weird. BE med was shooting a commander on the next map, also no damage was dealt. Sometimes the RPG seems to shoot a bit to the left of where I aimed. I might be mistaken. Crashed 4 times, on spawing in NF I think. I'll send the dumps over. The help-for-noobs panel is very ugly and I doesn't tell how to turn it off. BE APC has no texture for the turret, appears pink. BE APC tires have wrong textures on a "green" map, emp_coast A corpse runned down by a med tank was visible to a spectator as having -1% life. Another time, it was -11% when he was shot by another player, another time -54%. It seems not to be capped. Seismic grenade has a weird particle that looks like a camera flash, not like an explosion. The .map or .ain or whatever the extension was, is not included in the svn (so it won't be in installer), thus it's being downloaded from the server first time someone plays a map Console after launching the game:
These are not bugs. First one is an aesthetic choice (you can change it in game_particles.txt if you wish), second is a Source bug, it doesn't actually download it but checks for it. Console spam is also nothing special (you should see L4D2's console spam, lol)
Still, it would be reported by "real" QA, so I report them. It's kinda like a "warning", that You can ignore, but perhaps You shouldn't. There may be something important in the warnings. The files that were actually downloaded (despite what You said), are: They are all <1KB, but it looks nooby from a player's point of view, that he downloads the game, joins an non-modded server with an official map and still has to pull some files up devs forgot to put in the installer.
Oh I certainly don't mind you reporting these kinds of things, I encourage that even Also, I thought they weren't downloaded because those files showed up even after having played the map multitudes of times, seems like I was mistaken
