I have been gone for awhile.

Anyone care to list armor and weapons in the current version and what they are good for/against?

Things have changed a great deal, and its hard for me to judge everything right now. I cannot even tell if weapons fill the same role they used to. This guide should exist somewhere and flatly doesn't.

I really need to do this. I claimed that I would do it about a month ago., but haven't for whatever reason. Maybe this weekend.

This is hella basic I have to teach it to read in values from the scripts but once that's done I might hook it into weapons as well and get some useful information out of it.

Like for instance calculating the best and worst armor matchups behind the scenes and printing out counters.

    So it'd look like
    "Compo armor"
    "Best Countered by Railgun"

    "Rail Gun"
    "Best countered by reactive"

(NOTE THAT SHIT AINT ACCURATE I GOT NO IDEA WHATS GOOD)

shouldn't be too hard, obviously a lot of it will be not so accurate, like it might think salvo guided counters everything but because salvo guided is hard to use that's not entirely true. You'll have to take it with a grain of salt but it'll at least be a rough indication.

EDIT: actually a better idea would be to print the whole list of weapons in order of most effective to least effective, and you can draw your own conclusions based on weapon weight, cost and handling to decide what the actual best one would be.

EDIT2: and i'll make it look nicer, it's hurting my eyes to read it atm, but for now placeholder is placeholder.
