Has anyone played this yet? It's basically a survival game in which you start with hammering trees using a stone, then build tools, hunt animals and survive against monsters and other players. So far, servers support up to 200 players and are usually fully populated. Being on your own is a pain in the ass though, playing in groups is recommended.
I copped it but too bad freezing rain fucked up my entire province from yesterday to today. I don't have access to the internet, I'm using 4G right now. Probably tomorrow my ISP will be recovered from this shitstorm so I'll play then.
Well it is a couple of days to christmas. Personally I am super broke because of said holidays too. So I can't even afford the 20$ for it. This does sound kinda neat too.
Currently I play on /vg/'s server, where there is suprisingly a lot of respect for everyone, despite /vg/ being spawn of /v/. Right now though there's a ddos attack happening on all of the servers, official and community run, so no one can play and the /vg/ server is down.
this game looked really cool but i have yet to see dongs... everyone is wearing pants.. i bought it for the dongs
http://www.pcgamesn.com/indie/dongs-rust-get-censored They didn't care about the dicks being in game, what they did care was people taking screen shots and posting them all over the community. Seeing as valve makes money off ignorant kiddies, this was going to happen eventually. It's still there, but you need to do a console command and re-frame from taking screenshots of dicks.
Met w00kie ingame and brought him back to our fort earlier, kitted him out and then we all died when we got a poor attempt at a raid on us. Respawned in the base (except w00kie who is now fending for himself somewhere) and going to check the damage tomorrow. Definitely much more interesting (in my opinion) than Dayz. The adrenalin of trying to defend something you've put a lot of effort into building is incredible.
I havent played it but I just want to comment I have the same feels when I am about to lose a 3 day character on dayz, fully geared (built up myself ) and up north doesn't just happen easily.
It's survival against rockbros and kevlarfags in this game. The /vg/ server has 3 gangs that every now and then have firefights with each other, and if you're lucky, they run into each other and not you.
