i think the most drastic thing they could do for gameplay changes is have three factions simultaneously (if that's what having three meant) for >64-player fights
Aw, see I am a very affectionate person and cant help myself from hugging other players in game. I enjoy hugging people with a bigger reach.
I want a BF-1918 rebuild of the 1942 mod. Modern battlefields are fucking boring. You want to revive a guy? bring the body to Africa, consult witch doctor. Want to melee somebody? SHOVEL. Want to get healed because you were shot? TOO BAD. all the morphine and medical supplies are back at the home bunker. Want tanks? enjoy going 10 kph. Aircraft? zeppelin and bi-planes. Automatic weapons? mostly fixed maxim guns and the occasional french portable LMG that jams 70% of the time because of dirt. And dont forget the trench foot!
http://www.cinemablend.com/games/Ba...d-China-Rising-DLC-Pre-Order-Bonus-55925.html Maybe China will be a part of BF4 after all. If you want to call anything a true successor to BF2, this would be it.
If I wanted commanders and squad based gameplay, I'd play Empires. EDIT: But truth be told, I liked the skyscraper just falling down. Still, COD is better for casual pew pew and I have Empires for the aforementioned squads and comms.
While the trailer got me ,weirdly enough, hyped, it is probably really bad when the first thing that came into my mind when they showed that you can get on top of the skyscraper was "Fucking campers". Yea
holy shit the video is impressive ... ... also zoom campers never appeared to me as much of a problem in bf3 (except maybe for metro 64p, but who ever plays this is insane anyway). well ok, they can drag a team down. edit: oh i forgot, there is a rush mode. well, i have no clue about that
