Empires community source mod nights interest?

We were just talking about other source mods that we play/used to play whilst in game there. How would everyone feel about having an arranged event every so often where I'll set up a server (as long as tricksters happy enough) for a source mod and then we play together?

Can you reply in this thread if you are interested (due to my availability it will probably be on Friday nights Uk time could start from 8, 9 or 10 PM BST.

Mod suggestions (I will trial with these mods if people are interested then I will move onto the 2nd list):

1. Sourceforts
2. Battlegrounds
3. Dystopia (Server size may be a problem, 16 players)
4. Eternal Silence

If this proves successful then also (atleast some of):

5. Die in Pain Rest in Peace
6. Zombie Panic Source
7. Age of Chivalry

9. Hidden Source ((depends on numbers as, it only supports 10 to a server), since it is old there may be problems getting it to work, would be fun to play)
10. Synergy (only 10 player servers so maybe not include)
11. Zombie Master (would need to check compatibility and server size)
12. Golden Eye Source
13. Firearms Source
14. Trouble in Terrorist Town (TTT) (Requires Garrys mod and CSS)
15. Neotokyo
16. No More Room in Hell (survival mode)

This thread is just to see who is interested so can you post here if you are please. I won't be going to the trouble of this unless there is quite a few that can attend.
Feel free to mention changes to this list (im not sure about dystopia as it can only have 16 players to a server and not sure about DIPRIP either as I've never played it)

4 and 8 sound fun. I have played both. 8 was particularly fun. There just are not enough people playing it anymore.

 

So would you be interested in attending at one of those times if i organised it?

4 was Dystopia and 8 was Eternal Silence.

 

Let's play Dystopia and Eternal Silence first, also, add Synergy and Hidden Source.

 

I used to play Zombie Panic! Source a lot, it's actually how I met Axeman who introduced me to Empires some years ago. Was a really fun game to play with people you knew.

I think I gave Eternal Silence a shot once, it felt like a weird Tribes remake, but that also was years ago.

I might show up, my schedule is a tad whack right now though.

 

Updated first post. Only going to have 4 mods at first, if the demand is there then I will move onto the other mods.

Grant-How many players does synergy support (i think its only a few)

Candles-I've got a weeks holiday coming up soon and then theres the 2.12 pug that trickster is organising so it may be July by the time I would be ready to set this up

edit: we could also do ricochet if anyone owns it (you know, the greatest multiplayer game in existence).

 

thats 1pm for me I may not be able to attend a friday one but a saturday should be ok.

 

TTT was fun when I played it with the CW guys, but it got ruined and flooded with 10 year olds and servers demanding NO LESS THAN 3 PIECES OF EVIDENCE. TTT played best with insanely high karma settings which strong discourage you from shooting friendlies, and just letting people feel it out themselves.

But TTT, being GMOD, is a bitch to set up.

 

TTT would be damn fun with the Empires crew, assuming they made the slightest attempt to keep the rage down.

Synergy is a piece of shit, even worse after steam version came out.

 

Guys can we stop with the random discussions and just say if your interested or not at those times (empty paradox and trickster although I'm guessing the times won't suit trickster) . If I don't have many people saying they are interested then I won't be organising this so the game suggestions will be useless

 

Iuno, I mean I'm hoping something (Empires related) can get thrown this Saturday night because I have Sunday off. And I can still go to maybe 10pm UK time at the latest on Friday night. After that, it's only one weekend when I can't and then I'm back for 3 weeks.

 

I'm in if the times are physically possible for me.

 

Empty suggested times are in the first post. Trickster, was thinking of first or second weekend in July for the first game if there's enough interest

 

I'm around then. I'm back from 29th of June till the 19th of July.

Time is impossible for me until I finish overnights on saturdays.
5am saturday morning doesn't agree with a 10pm-6am shift that night.
