Being as there is no user called vulkanis registered and that you can't see that page unless you log in then I can only assume that this is you.
Only now, after we've actually started, people have started to complain about the account sharing within an alliance rule. So I'm going to ask both on the forums, and ingame. My argument FOR account sharing within an alliance is that it stops 1 or 2 people who play 24/7 pulling ahead and leaving everyone behind by spending more time than them. The idea I had in mind was that we'd get 3-4 alliances who instead, all had close to 24/7 coverage (getting allies across timezones) so that no single person or alliance can pull ahead. On the other hand, apparently, people haven't necessarily organised this as I expected, so no-one else is really taking advantage of this rule, so we (my alliance which is set up for the account sharing properly) seems to be pulling away. Obviously, some people aren't particularly happy with this. So, either by posting in the thread (On the Empires forums) or sending me a PM (on the game), tell me what your opinion of the rule is. Do you want to keep this rule, or do you want it removed? The quicker you get back to me, the quicker things get sorted out, because I have no intentions of doing another restart
Yeah, I was kind of hoping that account sharing within an alliance would let people split the load a bit.
well you're the only one doing the whole 24/7 account sharing thing but if thats how you feel like playing its ok. Just keep in mind your alliance is kinda filling the role of "that guy who plays 24/7" and the game is no fun if everyone else ragequits.
Yeah I know, but I genuinely expected the other alliances to do the same, given they have the provision. And I guess they are, because I came on this morning and we're way down in the rankings now, so I figure everyone else is starting to do it.
The same way I dug an 80 foot hole in Wurm. Also, technically it was a 4mx4m pyramidal hole with an angle of what I believe to be about 70 degrees. P.S. Smartphones with Internet access make it easier. Que up a building or something in between classes. Save the things with the longer timers for when I go to bed and if I do the math right, which is easy math for that matter, then once one thing finishes, I might have enough resources to start another.
Sorry Tricky, but you hit me soon after I started upgrading a building. Now I'm starting to upgrade my defenses because of that too.
I was only going to hit once because I figured you'd been storing up all game. Clearly not. It's kind of difficult to raid effectively with such a low fleet speed. In previous games, the one-way time of that raid would have been about 2 minutes, not 2 hours.
the speed as-is is pretty cool I think, makes for fun strategy without the frustration of having too many things happen when you can't pay attention
