the problem that empires has is way to complex to formulate in a reasonable timeframe for a game i dont play anymore. but a game shouldnt enforce a certain playstyle upon players but rather complemet it. also a lot of info is missing ingame, this is really, really bad. you, sadly, cannot expect people to read or even watch manuals unless they played a game for a certain time. i think only a few ever reach this state, before getting annoyed by those that play for more then two months ...
which is an additional issue. the dev team basically exchanges itself each version and each of them so far was more interested to add ontop, rather then fixing the gameplay quirks. also since there seem to be only some ancient design document, their perception is not consistent. also i agree with hobbes. CV to the front, its only a shame that if you lose it you lost.
ohh like the fabled "Arc Of The Covenant" that some religions claim exist but, show no one. Only this one is not nearly as mystical... thats real dust on it, not magic/holy dust. However just like the arc of the covenant there may be fabulous things in it... although probably not.
Why would Empires want to attract positive people? The game is better off with nothing but Nihilistic douchebags and Narcissists.
Lawliet, I know for a fact that you don't know the meaning of either of those words, so you certainly didn't write that post.
I may not have conjured up the original thought good sir, but these are indeed my fingers. Also I knew what a narcissistic person was, and I didn't know the meaning of the word nihilist but I knew the concept.
Can you guys stop suggesting ways to save a game that someone already is saving? It's not like MOOtant or Trickster give a fuck.
Actually, I can always use more assets and/or modelers. Especially if you know modeling programs that are free/cheap but enough to do your job.
