    Ideas to be implemented, because I like riding in jeeps:

    1. Reduce the gravity on jeeps, as they are FAR lighter than tanks, BUT keep the TRACTION they experience the SAME. If this is implemented, the jeep will (realistically) ramp off objects much easier, and be effected by things such as 2 better.

    2. INCREASE gravity for all tanks, especially heavy tanks. It seems highly, highly, highly unlikely that I would be able to rocket my jeep undeneath the chassis of an artillery tank, or a heavy tank, and drive around with it. This would have the additional bonus of reducing spin out with faster engines, which has always seemed unrealistic to me.

    3. MODIFY jeep damage: I HAVEN'T TESTED THIS THOUROUGHLY (typo) but maybe increase damage to jeeps a tad as of 1.05.

    4. MAP MAKING: ADD RAMPS TO THE MAPS!!!!! There are only THREE ramp-like objects I can think of in all the maps present- escort, which isn't exactly jeep dominated, crossroads, whose tank traps provide decent jumping fun, and money, whose ramps can be kind of jumped. I SAY MAKE MORE RAMPS IN EACH LEVEL! I can't stress how much I want ramps for crazy jeep jumping madness.

    5. Reduce armor on artillery, to prevent them from being used as front-line tanks.

    I'm no programmer, I don't know how these can be done or whether they can be done. I'm just throwing it out there.

    Make your own stunt map. :p

    Artillery armor is already, for the most part, as low as is feasable. I might suggest decreasing the weight that the arty can carry as an alternative, forcing the player to choose between a bigass gun and a lot of armor.

    I would also force the artillery to have higher default aim, so they can't be used as frontline tanks.
    Or even better (was also suggested many times), give the artillery tank an installation period of like 5 seconds for high accuracy. They will be able to adjust their cannon horizontally slightly. They also won't experience backfire. If they drive around, they can still fire, but their accuracy is greatly diminished, and the backfire is tremendous.

    Oh, believe me, once I teach myself to make maps, I WILL be making a battlezone with a dirtbike-style eXTREME SPORTZ map in the middle of it. MarioCart64 will be put to shame by this awesome map. Also, there will be big ass battle blimps in it. Zepplins of death.

    Also, on a more serious note, I agree with FalconX-- reduce weight limits is a better idea than reduced armor.

    beer dudes gots some decent ideas i think. id really like to see arty remain in the game and i think it just ned a hell of alot of tweaking.

    one thing i was thinking whilegetting battered by the the other day, should there be a few diferent types of arty cannon? for example maybe have a very powerful one with a small blast radius for destroying tanks and buldings and vice versa for infantry or something like that, maybe even split them into 2 seperate classes?

    oh and does anyone know whats going on with the half life jeep sound being used for every vehicle? is that fix pretty low down on the list of things to do?

    AnRK, you KIND OF have that effect with artillery already. HE shells have a huge radius, ER shells go longer distances, small cannons are great anti-tank weaponry, etc.

    FalconX has the right idea on the Artilary, dont reduce the availabe armor, but make ppl choose between bigger gun and armor !!

    ah right, ive not really used one cos they cost so much and im not good enough to waste that much of my teams money on one, although whether you have to be any good to use one seems to be pretty debateable on here.

    last time i was playing on that CTF map i cant remember the name of, the arty was taking out pretty much the whole of the spawn points and taking off half my health

    i woud like a anti infantry shell on arti

    like firing it, then it splits up in peaces and rains down in great radius doing small to medium damage to a large field

    good LORD NO. The arty is TOO anti infantry right now, if anything. Giving the artillery tank an anti-infantry shell would be like giving a BEAR nunchucks. WHY DOES THE BEAR NEED NUNCHUCKS? He's already a vicious killing machine.

    A vicious, bloodthirsty killing machine.

    I believe I got off topic.... the HE shell is already pretty damn anti-infantry. It has a massive blast radius that kills anything within ABOUT twenty feet of the orgin point. I'm just guessing here, but the range is crazy.

    How about a biological arty? Does no damage to buildings and vehicles but will infect all intantry units in its blast radius (maybe even if they are inside of buildings and vehicles). Infected units loose X life every Y seconds but can be healed by any engy (only with revive / who isn't infected himself).
    I think the biology research branch needs some more items and is underused right now.

    This idea is being discussed somewhere as a poison gas artillery shell, i forget the thread, but before poison gas is implemented, i say you'd have to test th concept of regular gas--and the fog spamming that's sure to follow.

    Bear + nunchucks = best post EVAR.

    He's right, though. Making an anti-infantry atillery would be insane. If you absolutely had to, though, a nerfing of the normal shell would be necessary.

    i think hes meaning to tone it down a bit though, make the radius bigger and the blast much weaker

    I think arty should do close to no damage at all to infantry to balance it out.

    EDIT: How about MECHANIC cyborg bears with laser-shooting nunchucks that you shoot from flying whale blowholes?
