OK please help me which game shud i choose to buy. (I like rts,fps style just like empires but idk which to choose.) EDIToll has been moved to http://forums.empiresmod.com/showthread.php?t=11273
Borderlands obviously. What you like is irrelevant, borderlands must be purchased. The blood god demands it.
I voted for sins. It was the only game I've played recently that was deep enough to draw me into its gameplay.
Borderlands... basically an MMORPG where your menial tasks are from an FPS perspective. click at that instead of click on that. ammirite?
Don't get forces of valor if you have any of the previous ones. Only get sins if you have at least 3 other friends to play with. You can get the origional c&c for free now, and red alert 2 for dirt cheap, they are the ones really worth playing from the decade pack I'm gonna go with Sins, its a great little game that is relatively unpopular in comparison to the others listed, which is undeserved. Never played borderlands, and wasn't impressed by l4d2
C&C: Renegade is also included in the pack, & still has a good amount players online. (Probably more than that Renegade X mod :p). I'm gonna have to go with Borderlands though, I've been playing that game everyday on my PS3 ever since it was released, it's real addicting.
More or less, except because it's from an FPS perspective it's as much fun as fighting in HL2, all the enemies have attack patterns and/or weak points. It's a rather good solution.
Armed Assault, get the ACE mod, mabye even learn to use the editor. Tons and tons of user made scenario's to fight through.
NO ON SINS Wtf at that lag fest. Can't even get a decent ass game of 8 people together without it lagging to hell by the time everyone has 100s of trade ships, and fleets of hundreds of ships. Sad really, could have been an amazing game, but unless you and your friends all have extreme intels from the most recent architectures, you are better off with supreme commander.
32 vs 64 makes no difference. The app itself is still compiled for 32bit, and a 32bit app on a 64bit OS really will see no advantage (and, in fact - a 32bit will perform slightly better.) Either way, I never had lag, unless I was playing someone torrenting, or someone on 56k.
Dawn of War, because of the sheer fact that: You get a giant-ass tank. With Eleven Guns. And SPESS MAHREEEEEEENSS!
