Alpine Rush Version: Beta 3 By: [LoDw]Keef I got alot of inspiration from slaughtered for this map, tight packed little canyon areas for fighting. The map is basically a circle of 4 bases with 2 paths connecting one to the next. Beta 1 of alpinerush had fog in the lower parts of the map making for some cool looking environments and fun combat, however the fog looked far different on computers with different graphics settings giving an advantage to players with better computers so had to remove it for fairness sake. Performance on this map is top notch, vision is significantly limited looking anywhere, canyons constantly twist and turn hiding previous areas to hopefully limit to short distance combat. Recently added bushes and trees block alot more visibility down canyons and at canyon entrances to hopefully promote even closer combat. lol We played this map yesterday , I was NF commander (and we won obviously ). This new version as I said the first time definitly look awesome with those new trees and new graphism , and everyone agreed with that when we played it. Hope you make some new maps soon
I like it. Totally a PITA to drive around as a tank, but balanced by some sweet 10x roadkills when everyone clusters.

considering how engin voice is not heard from more than 5 meters (even simple mg is heard from a far [which is a total bullshit and creates the sound spam, but thats for another topic]), most people wont even have time to procces the sound into " OH SHI~!" command.:p
Dude, I drove over 5 people sitting together staring at me, one tried to place an mg but was blocked by the rest.. :D
lol, touche dubee but this map is designed to increase the effectiveness of infantry against tanks and condense the combat area, expect some tank hicups.

It's really fun tho.. I dunno if you took what I said for sarcasm but I actually like it. I did how ever see fn198 get the BE CV stuck at some part of the map which was pretty hilarious.. Definitely a map you need to be careful with boom tanking on.. haha I would love to see this be official too.
