Maybe it does charge the bullets with a high current so they do even more damage to organic tissue. It does look cool tho and it would be another thing where you could use some more particles for additional bling.
That doesn't even make sense, you can't 'charge bullets' unless you put a power source inside them. When you stop passing a current through something it loses its charge, electricity is based on the difference between two things, only very minor differences can exist without being maintained by something, anything stronger than static electricity will discharge into the environment. You can't just run a current through something and have it keep the charge.
just mount a giant capacitor with several farad into a bullet and have fun it doesnt have to make sense, the battery looks awesome
If you're going to ignore sense then I want the gun to have an axe blade on the underside where the batter pack is, and also a flamethrower. And it should play a guitar riff when you shoot it.
I want a gun that can make people understand that instead of applying pseudo science (could the real weapons engineer please stand up, please stand up, please stand up...) they should just accept the fact that in order to make an interesting game they sometimes have to emerge from their own ass and create something that doesn't really make sense from a scientific standpoint.
I was being serious. If we are throwing common sense out the window I want a gun with an axe on the end and a flamethrower attached, because I like axes, guns, and flamethrowers. I also like guitar riffs.
what about melting the battery pack and magazine into 1? like, the gun uses power from a battery in the magazine? example
That would be a really cool detail. Make the magazine noticable in first person view, with a bar on the side that indicates energy left.
The battery pack could instead be an underslung explosive round launcher, making the gun look like this: Guess where I got this idea from Like those pistols in battlestar galactica EDIT: found another picture
W-W-W-W-W-WRISTBREAKERrrrrrrr no, is that seriously doable without snapping off your wrist or something?
Well if the nade is just pushed out of the gun and it uses its own fuel to fly it wouldnt be a problem.
thats awesome, is the blue a display or is it glass/see trough plastic? edit: also bullets in magazines tend to zigzag next to each other so putting them directly under each other makes less ammo fit in
