I agree with HSM though... The map hasn't improved a bit with this new remake

I think maybe you guys are forgeting its always sucked.. just like the old district.. just because some of you remember a good match back in the day your minds are blanking out all the shitty matchs with level 3s on the rocks and first team to arty wins..

When ever I played this map I would ninja with in the first minutes to save everyone a headache from whats pretty much a different shaped money.. The shape and size of the map is fail but now it looks/performs better.. still is shit tho

Yeah to be honest this is just a piss-poor designed map. It needs to be resized to be any fun.

    BSPzip this map please.

Need all content zip'ed inside the BSP for easy HTTP downloads and server portability, thanks.

you dont NEED a bzip for http downloads. I forget the structure, but you just need correct directory structure and file placement for the map.

I have this map bzipped for the league fast downloads. If I remember I'll post it when I get home from work.

You don't NEED to, but it's a lot easier and eliminates forgetting files or losing files during moves to different machines etc. Less files the better.

Thanks Evan, got any other BSPzip'd maps?

I have all of the custom maps bzipped, but I don't want to share our fast downloads server without asking the server admin first. I'll check with him.

BSPzip is not bzip. Rothgar wants the extra files embedded in the BSP. You two are talking about compressing the files for faster downloads. Totally different things.

This is correct, are you talking about bzip2'ing the files? or do you have all of the maps BSPzip'd meaning all the custom materials etc have been zipped inside the BSP so it's a single file?

    You need a res file.

Evan all maps need res files (in a diff firectory).. that's why you can't include all necessary files in the BSP

Not all maps need a res file, for most other mods everything can be BSPzip'd into the BSP file?

From what I am hearing you can't include the waypoint/minimap file? The materials for example and skyboxes etc should all be BSPzipable.
