The map was emp_money, and there was about 24 people. It was near the end of the game, so both sides had a lot of research done. I was in the middle of an arty battle, when the game locks up. My friend says the same thing happened to him also. It turns out, everyone on the server crashed, except 2 people. The server didn't crash. Very, very weird.
Yeah that sucked... At least it kept us from loosing :D Crashed on me twice before the big meltdown crash.
Seems that 1.07 introduced several more crash bugs. I've only ever once crashed in any of the previous versions. But I crash quite regularly in 1.07 regardless of map.
Don't forget that with 1.07 Krenzo moved to the new HL2 engine which could ba the cause for many of these crashes .
I think there is just too much to do server-side. The official is open for 28 players, but I think 20 is max at the moment. With more it's lagging, loss is raising and you get more crashes.
