Interesting(ish). The explanation seems to be that in Europe and Australia we don't use those kinky threaded antenna connections on coaxial cables for terrestrial tv antenna.
To summarize: Release date: March 3rd, 2017 Price: $299.99 USD No region lock Best of show: Zelda (obviously) which will be a release title Honorable mentions: Mario, Splatoon Gimmick games from Wii era: 1 2 Switch, Arms Interesting things: share button will do video "in future" Other notes: Another Xenoblade game from Monolithsoft. Looks to have ridiculous scale like last game (interesting sidenote, supposedly the scale in that game was somewhat of a test for upcoming zelda). Some other junk in there that I dunno. Some video from what appears to be some new Sonic game. The first footage from the Mario game made me think Mario: GTA edition... in New Donk City
Wait, download and play for a month? So don't get to keep? -_- But also... with newly-added online play? WTF? So, what, original F-Zero online or something? Not very exciting to me. I already got a bunch of NES and SNES titles. Even got me some nice fancy cases for them. A sample since I want to show them off:
im pretty disapointed in this to be honest. lackluster game announcements and basically hit my three strikes 1. paid online (with terrible features and "bonuses" to boot) 2. high console price ($400 canadian. more expensive than a ps4/xbox with games included) 3. the fucking accessory prices. (100 for the two small controllers. 40 for the grip. 90 for the pro seriously, fuck that im surprised the fucking plastic wheels aren't 25 bucks each
are those the universal game cases that hold pretty much every type of game cartridge? i remember i bought one years ago and put my n64 wrestlemania 2000 in it
too much for me to buy i guess baseball metaphors dont go over in europe but to explain: any of the strikes would be fine on their own but once you hit three im boning the fuck out of this system (jesus i didnt even calculate the 15% SALES TAX) i bought the wii u for 330 and it came with splatoon and smash. if nintendo thinks they're going to sell 2 million of these switches in march they are out of their fucking minds
Those are actually stoneagegamer's BitBox cases. I went with them over the universal game cases despite the universal game cases being cheaper. Also, this is what it's like to be me right now since I didn't get a preorder in in time and I don't want to stand in line somewhere.
After the Zelda reviews I'm seriously debating hitting the store and buying a Switch. One advantage of being in Poland is there are maybe three other potential Switch buyers so they should have them in stock. Of course then there TB's tweet about the framerate which made me less excited, so I'll probably not do it...this weekend.
you still havent played witcher 3. Im going to laugh at you for buying a console at launch and not using it at all 3 years from now.
I put 60+ hours into it last february, got to skellige, and watched in dismay as hearts of stone's release corrupted my save forcing me to start over. Now I'm back in Velen with a new save.
