Yesterday, when I tried to connect to any server, it says this "Invalid Steam UserID Ticket." That was about 5:00. I was playing earlier that day at about 10-12. When i came back, it didnt work, and i still can't play now. I looked it up on the steam support, and all of their suggestions dont seem to work. Here is what i have been looking at. http://supportwiki.steampowered.com/wiki/Game_Error:_Invalid_Steam_UserID_Ticket My process of fixing it. My thoughts: 1. I do not own my own server, and i am not connecting to it. 2. There are no other Steam players in my house. 3. I logged out and rebooted steam a couple of times, did nothing. 4. My clock is fine. 5. I dont use another computer. 6. I do not have a dedicated server. 7. No idea about incombatitble networks, but it seems ok for what i am doing. 8. Not connecting to my own server, again. 9. Not sure about dual wan, but it doesn't seem to include me. 10. Steam seems to running fine So, any help for me? Also, this seems to happen to me with any other game. I tried it on Pirates, Vikings, and Knights II, and the same thing happened.
I got this yesterday too, almost exactly the same situation, time and everything I haven't fixed it yet but I remember seeing people disconnect from servers and remember having this problem occasionally in the past and it was solved by restarting steam, but that doesn't seem to be working now. D: solution please
Try deleting the clientregistry.blob in your steam folder and log in again. Also this can happen if you forgot steam on a computer that went a sleep (like a notebook). If that doesnt help, try changing password.
Yeah, I have this problem when I forgot to shutdown Steam on my laptop and it goes to sleep. However, logging out usually solved it for me.
Also had this problem. It helps if you disconnect from your steam account (go to change user) and reconnect.
Now I got that problem. Logged in and out several times. Deleted clientregistry.blob twice. Changed password. Doesn't work. //Edit: only happenes with the EPIC server. Other servers do work.
