Yesterday, at the playtest, someone mentioned that the bio-DoT is supposed to be removed when using a repair pad. I checked it and it has proven to be true. Sounds more like a bug to me. And to be honest, even if it WAS intended, I would dare to say that it should be changed since it pretty much makes bio stronger than it is supposed to be. I had to keep repairing my tanks yesterday for at least a minute, which means that tanks can be effectively disabled for a minute despite using the repair pad. So, it actually cripples the repair pad's repairing-ability, making a repair pad semi-useless, and that just by shooting a bio-ML at a tank. In addition, this means 1 minute of anti-fun for the tank-driver as he has to repair his tank so he does not lose it.
It didn't. Ironically, it shouldn't anyway imo, otherwise you'll have the effect easily canceled by an engineer who just jumps out of his tank, taps it and gets back in. Either that, or bio should take some time to remove using the engi-tool.
engineer doesnt cancel it when he just 'taps' repair he cancels the bio when he repairs that armor to full health on that side that is bio'd
