Basically I am asking what you play as in Empires team wise primarily. I asked after I saw this, "I've been on different servers all day, and 95% of all the times NF is victorious. What on Earth is going on here?" followed by this "‡|JPL|‡ Kamber: its the fabled post relese nf stax conspiracy"... I have to know if this is true? Anyways, what team do you primarily play as?
In many maps, NF has a slight advantage because NF LT's > BE AFV's. BE usually has to wait till they get meds before they can fight back.
I usually end up on NF after auto assigning. I'm guessing it has something to do with being in the US, on US servers. The newbies would rather play as Space Nazis than Superhuman Soviets.
NF all the way baby. LTs are just toooo fun. I really love BE meds though as well but in 2.12 good medium combat didn't really show up that often. But really nothing beats booting around the map with a LT with a fast engine.
I auto-assign as well, unless the team with less players in pwning the other one, then I'll wait. This is why I always join specs first. And it's not your imagination if you think NF wins more often. On some servers it can happen that all the vets join NF round after round after round and if you auto-assign or are new you get stuck with an all-newbie BE team all the time. I have never seen this the other way round, unless Headshotmaster is involved, in which case his team will often be stacked. Maybe this is the "Red Team Effect" that seems to be present in a lot of games where the blue faction tends to be either the "good guys" or the more humanlike one or otherwise one that sounds beginner-friendly (WoW is a prime example of this, where the Alliance is the proverbial noob faction, but I've seen it in other games)
I usually auto-assign.. Or pick the team with least players on it. I got a bad habit of joining games when they're almost finished, so i also join spectator once in a while.
If I have a choice, I'll pick NF, if NF has too many, I'll join BE. What I tend to notice is that noobs will just quit their team and join the winning team, even if that stacks the teams horrifically.
It really depends at what point do I join the game. If the game has already started, I'll join the team with the least amount of people. If I join at the beginning I usually go with NF, although sometimes I go BE. So really, any.
i look for who has the least refineries mostly, but i do think that the northern faction infantry weapons are the best atm, so i "prefer" to play with them : /
I was trying to tell people the same about NF weaponry, but I was called a stupid idiotic retarted troll... ___________________________________ Back on-toppic, I msotly join the team who has the least resources, as I like to wipe out overwhelming raids of enemy infantry...
We can pick which side to join? kidding. Personally, I like playing NF, because I like how their stuff looks as well as the prospect of a dual-rail heavy near end-game. But play-wise, BE feels better. I dunno, but I just feel more accurate with BE weapons (engie - SMG2, Rifle - Heavy, scout - ranged) than I do with the carbine and NF equivalents.
Mostly BE Gren, otherwise rampaging in an LT (Driving over people, mgs are for weaklings) or Commander on either team.
