I'm tired of having to bark the location of a dead body so that a player doesn't respawn. I suggest allowing players to view the name of a corpse so that they can communicate the presence of a revive engineer or whatever and yell at the player if they respawn. Conversely, I want dead players to be able to see the names of all friendly players, living and dead, with a special icon above the heads of engineers with revive.
i want dead people to be able to chat, empires is not really the game where ghost abusing would be a problem
If an engineer with revive would see a cross or something haning above dead but still revivable players, that would be enough!
Have mics work while dead also, since the game has reviving it kind of hurts not being able to hear dead people calling for a revive
It's pretty much hearing downed, injured people. What harm could it do? Being a dead informant isn't that fun or effective.
Oh I see thanks for that great reasoning What exactly does not being able to hear dead people add to gameplay? Its not CS where you cant respawn and you get to spectate...its just a useless feature left in (if you ask me)
Please, as long as their are no different class models(except for the BE Engineer) make the class apear above the corpse too. I'd rather revive a machinegunner when fighting infantry then a scout. When I have to build a barracks I would rather revive the engineer then the grenadier. When I am being attacked by medium tanks I want to revive the grenadier that just died and not the rifleman.
Well, that's what I mean. If I am the only person left on my sqaud, and I have revive I would rather revive the engineers. On BE this isn't much of a problem but for NF it is. I don't believe displaying classes would take that much effort.
It would be an amazing idea for mics to work when on non-comm maps, because no one gives a shit about the chat in empires.
