Waiting to get revived = Skill Point

I think that this little incentive to stop people just spamming the spawn button but instead look around and see if they can be revived, because to most people it's hunkey dorey whichever way they go.

My suggestion is that if they wait 10 seconds before being revived, then then get a skill point for their patience.

 

What about if they dont spawn for 10 sec when a reviver is near they get a skill point?
That way people wont get points for getting themselves killed, but for not using tickets when getting killed... (notice the dff.?)

 

agreed, everyone would squad up, and kill themselves and respawn every 10 secs until they get 20 points.

I don't think they should get points for waiting for a rev, it makes it too easy to get them then.

 

so what about having been revived 4 times = 1 skillpoint?
OR
revive +1 ticket (district and escort could be on a timer?)

not losing a precious ticket is already a incentive to wait for revive.

Very true I bet even if people would loose a point as well as a ticket they would still just spawn...
But I like the idea of if you had to wait over ten seconds to be resed getting a point as thats longer than just spawning and prevents people from just getting themeslves killed as for how long they need to wait.

 

what kind of idiot team would waste 5 minutes (don't forget that you have to be waiting 5 seconds for the point) and also a whole load of tickets just for rank points that they could have got from wasting the enemy. also take in mind that you can't be revived from a suicide.

however, one thing i can picture happening is people waiting beside their comrades until 10 seconds has passed in order to revive them with a point. hmm

 

well in that case lets just give everyone auto-aim since half of the people can't aim properly. respawning isn't the real problem, players not working in a team is.

Getting points for spoting enemy targets is one thing, but getting points just to do nothing while dead is taking it too far.

 

What about when I'm doing other things and not playing Empires? Can I get skill points then too?
