Yeah no more offtopic. This is the biggest E-sports event of the entire year, so it's an important talking point. Fnatic managed to stay up after dropping to the lower bracket, really really happy about that. I hope they can make it into the last 6. Fnatic are by far my favourite team.
Fnatic playing again today, they've got 2 matches hopefully progressing through the lower bracket. As long as they don't lose first blood on a support I think they're alright.
I know you are joking around but I'll still give you shit for having a bad sense of humor. Also, "Mega thread"? On empires forums? Thats gonna be like what, 10 pages max? With 5 active contributors? E: Ban people for posting image macros in a dota thead, circa 2013. Yeah okay.
"Mega thread" is a joke, when Trickster mentioned in the other that I make good threads apparently. It's also a joke on the fact everybody apart from those who actually play the game despise it, hence the low contributors. And also necrophilia is a crime against nature so it's not even funny.
Anyway my rares are back on Alliance. I don't wanna bet on Na'Vi vs TongFu, I feel it could go either way.
That Navi game was crazy good, It's a shame I went to sleep because it looked like they'd lose it. I watched the vod today and it's very impressive and hilarious how much they fucked tongfu over with the fountain hooks. This will probably be "that game" which everyone remembers just like that roshan fight in the previous ti.
I found the Liquid v LGD game a lot more entertaining, I watched both VODS this morning, I found the Na'Vi G3 comeback was just down to hvost getting farmed enough to be a massive presence in teamfights where before he was just melting. The fountain hooks were funny though. I can't wait for Alliance vs Na'Vi later, shame it starts at 0:00, I would rather have it on at 9:00 where 1) it's the kind of "primetime" slot, the first game of the day has more excitement around it to kick things off and 2) more viewers. It probably means we can play some 5v5s before it starts if we have the numbers.
I turned off at the start of Game 4 after the draft at like 3 o clock. I was cheering for Na'Vi even though I had bet on Alliance, I hope Game 5 is good. I'm now watching the VODs.
That last round was probably the most spectacular game of Dota I have ever witnessed. I don't think anyone could have asked for a better end to the tournament. I'm disappointed at the overall outcome but the fact is, as much as it pains me to say it, the best team won.
