First off, they've changed that, you can have it on unlimited PC's however only one PC can be active at any given time. So its still a one PC deal just not as gay. As for that I've had a hands on, on the final retail version. First off it handles memory differently and is more efficient when it comes to gaming. Its quicker and takes more advantage of both medium and high end PC's. Plus DX10, and there are also a bunch of other goodies I can't remember off hand. The Supreme Commander Dev team is looking into running the entire game off disc instead of installing which is a part of a nifty feature in vista. Go here: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16832116175 Its Windows XP SP2, but it comes with a free vista OEM upgrade voucher so you can still run on XP pro and play while you wait.
Well its not really how cool DX10 and vista will be, but more about its efficiency in gaming and applications. Its by far way more efficient than XP when it comes to... Well... Just about everything.
I'm going to try it out, I've been on my Christmas holiday while this thread was filling up. Do you guys still have aircrafts?
lawl. No They're planned for a later release but there have been tests with them so there has been progress
http://www.i-am-bored.com/bored_link.cfm?link_id=18812 my cousin got Vista Business edition or w/e from his company, and i only got to spend 10 minutes on it, it looked great. better have a bitchin system if you want to run it well.
I heard you have to buy a new copy of vista if you want to upgrade your PC cause it can only ever register one hardware configuration.
Some guys in Asia already cracked the serial curve... Its only a matter of time untill everything else gets cracked, hacked and backward engineered :p
