Because we need some intelligent music discussion going on. (And you can be all "I'm real underground" like a bad person.) For me, I'd say Kings of the City. I like their combination of guitar music with some well written and catchy rap lyrics. Their Facebook page has 3.6k ish likes, so they must be underground, right!? Another artist I quite like is br&new. I think Space Oddity might like this one. Heavily influenced by deadmau5's "Strobe", but a bit more all over the place and aggressive. Gief music. ove:
Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine Richard Cheese - Creep Richard Cheese - Come out and play (There is a more awesome version on his best of album, but that's nowhere on youtube/vimeo/dailymo...)
If you're into symphonic metal: Lunatica - Fables & Dreams (not really unknown, but generally forgotten compared to the other bands) Legenda Aurea - Sedna Kingfisher Sky - Hallway of Dreams
Im a way to hardcore music nerd/hipster whatever, my list would be like 10000 pages long so dont start posting stuff it would never end
I Monster Stewart Copeland Aaron Parks Blues Explosion (low quality) Limp Bizkit (actually listen) MASTODON (best band) Reuben
I can name one person in real life who knows about Mastodon who didn't find out about them through me and he's one of my music tutors. I put Limp Bizkit in because no one actually fucking listens to them. You get the eight year olds who like the loud noises and swearing and then you get the stuck up snobs who only hear the loud noises and swearing. Actually listen. You know, pay attention to the music; if that's your reaction to it then I'm sure its a novel idea to you.
bro you give me any limp bizkit line and ill give you the next line no prob. its still awful so you can take that cookie e: btw 8 years ago a 12 year old gave me that exact line
I don't know the words, I never listen to the words. I listen to the music. Listen to the arpeggios the bass guitarist is playing, the chords and harmonics the guitarist is playing, etc. You think I'd listen to Fred "rape-inciting" Durst for lyrics?
I'm kind of inclined to agree with Shitstorm (Space_Oddity). If you take Fred Durst out of the equation, they're not that bad. It's just that he's an asshole.
