Add chat filters, so you can turn things off like general alerts, or enemies defeated or point earned, etc.
Personally I would only need these messages: -Earned point for destroying building -Research complete (current research should be always visible) -rtv or commander kick vote -Earned point for killing enemy (not that important) -Player joined/left (not that important) Absolutely not needed: -Someone needs something (medic, ammo, repair) -One point for reviving an enemy -Vehicle design accepted. Commencing vehicle construction. -Current map/Next map -Server messages like visit our ... server -Something spotted -I need arty fire/infantry support/... on my target/location/... -Roger that (and other f-menu commands) -From commander: Attack these targets/Move to this location/... -Player has reached destination -Something under attack (commander only) -Something killed/destroyed (commander only) -(Commander): Player has done something (commander only) If nobody needs these messages, then we don't need a filter. Just turn them off.
I've said it before and I say it again: These should just moved to the right part of the commander screen, in his own little private box for only those messages.
These are the most annoying as commander. Sometimes I have to look at console just to see what someone said in chat because their message was immediately replaced by 10,000 under attack, player killed, building destroyed spam.
