There are already enough weapons to destroy buildings. But for walls this could work: - Long range sticky grenades - 2 slot grenade launcher - Research, cost and weight the same as upgraded grenades - Slow fire rate but high accuracy - Will do 25% damage to fully build wall - No damage to other objects
Is it possible to get full damage against walls and maybe deployables and only... dunno, 25% damage against other targets? (doesn't make sense in reallife, but most likely better for gameplay)

Not mechanical. I wrote to add it to upgraded grenades (chemistry). But I'm not 100% sure if we need an anti wall weapon and if it should be a sticky grenade. It will be useful on emp_money. But on other maps?
One purpose in defence I can think of is destroying the walls of attacking engineers that shield the incoming troops from your turrets and enable them to nadespam everything within 100 meters. And vice versa.
Unbuilt walls are a pain to destroy, because as Mashav researched, only shells hitting the very top (center?) affect its health. I wouldn't mind seeing a wall-destroyer.
Might be nice for money, as more than a few time I have seen people get out of heavy tanks to take down the walls only to get killed. 2 slot MG that fires this shell may be the perfect way to let people clear walls. I think there is some value in the weapons or walls scripts that has a damage modifier that can be used for this.
