Anyone check out gog.com ? I recently bought a few games from them and I have to say I'm very impressed. The site is easy to use, the games come with absolutely no DRM, and the customer service is incredible. I had a problem with one of the games I bought so I submitted a support message--within a couple hours it was answered. For about a week or so, me and this employee tried to figure out what was wrong, and eventually he found a solution. I've never actually had a customer service rep help me to fix a problem; I always have to endlessly search obscure forums for find a solution. Though there are a handful of classic games on the site, I do wish that there would be more old AAA games. They add a game or two each week, but lately its been a bit disappointing. I suppose that securing the rights to sell these games is harder not only because of their age, but also because frankly most publishers don't want to give up any of their games to be sold without DRM. I should also mention that the community is really great. These people really appreciate the finer qualities of gaming.
Yeah I made a thread about it last year. :p I've only purchased Duke3D & Shogo: Mobile Armor Division so far.
Do they still sell Deus Ex for money? Its like 11 years old now. Although I'd buy it if my copy got ruined. Theres also Home of the Underdogs, which is all abandonware and free:D .
Crysis is really old, visuals are so pixely and outdated. /scarcasm More for the list: Red Alert 2 Star Wars Jedi Knight: Dark Forces 2 (dark forces 1 in quite good too, though tricky to get working)
Who, not what. Unless we are talking about samurai helmets. Or Pokemon. Or dudes who make bitchin' little tractors. Or the movie, or...
