In the customize screen, there will be an option to have a manual transmission tank instead of an automatic transmission. Benefits of the manual transmission are a faster top speed, because of 6 gears instead of 4, more control over your tank, easier to climb out of craters, and it saves a ton of gas. Downsides would be that it would be hard to drive, especially when you are fighting. Also, there's a clutch you have to push down. This also prevents vehicle theft because most of the noobs that steal your tanks won't know how to shift gears giving u the opportunity to wall them in and get an admin to slayer them. Anyways I think it'll be pretty cool
LoL! Another thing to deter new players! After working out how to use the vehicle factory ("h0W To gEt CARZ?!") they will then be to stupid to drive anything. It would at least stop some people from CV griefing.
And the next thing would be adjustable suspension, ignition, exhaust, drivetrain, supercharger, intake, tires and wing. Don't like it. Even not for jeeps.
I automatically read all of his suggestions using Hamster's own voice in my head. It makes me infinitely less likely to support them in any way, shape or form.
Hamster, post a clip of your voice somewhere reading: Hi. My name is Fricken Hamster. My voice is my password, verify me.
I would try whether it works but I can't find the clutch (and gearup/down) e.g. someone would have to dig through the code and find how to assign a key to the function that valve's part of the code recognizes. Yes, there seems is support for it in the vehicle movement stuff but since valve didn't use it in their games I suppose its in a desolate state. Which means endless fun! I need to get beerdude to do this ;D
Hamster, I can't . I'm sorry, I still love you, but I just can't. Some people are not made for things. You can be the cameroon man though
meh, could work with some practice. You'd be surprised what people can do, even with respect to enunciation. But, I'll have to defer to Bitter's judgement since the dude's actually taking initiative and leading the charge on this.
