Pick-up-games. Think about it. Servers were slow, and we 'picked them up' by having fun times via scheduled events.

Maybe you don't call them pugs because you weren't invited. :<
Maybe you call them 'WIWTBWSNISG' or "Wish I was there but wasn't invited so now Im sad games'

 

All I was planing to do as a leader was laze around and make people poll everything they want to do.

Since i will be travelling around for a bit without empires mod i think this is a positve way i can contribute to this. A little saga or two for each battle... i have always liked writing fan fiction

Here is the problem you will be facing. Leaders who are in clans are more likely to let their clanmates play over public players. So people who already have the chance to play scrims will get to also play in the PUGS over more deserving public members. I said this during the season 1 irc chat, when I said we should do a public player tourney, then again in season 2. We should just copy the system that is in place for VIE.

Need players to be able to play on a first come first serve basis. Have a system for swapping out players to ensure equal time, and having it played on a wednesday and saturday at a european and american time. This ensures everyone the chance to play and have a good time.

 

What's the possibility of multiple games across multiple servers? Because tbh, we're going to have a lot of overflow....aren't we?

 

I would say at times, Yes there will be an overflow. I would personally go against multiple servers. It looses its feel because you could be on a bad side, but still manage to win 1/2 the games by stacking all the good guys on one server.

I would say just 1 server. Swap guys in and out, have multiple games a day, add up the scores, you have a winner. I would like to see like 2, 3 hour blocks for this. One for Europe Prime Time, one for American Prime Time, alternating on a middle of the week day, and a weekend date.

 

I really think you guys are overestimating the turnout.

there could be up to 3 servers
