Concerning the NF heavy rifle (The semi-auto long thing), it seems to me, that the rate at which it can fire differs upon latency to the server. This may only be a minor inconvinence to people with smaller pings (<250), but for me, it is rather weapon breaking. For example; On Custom factor, an Australian server, I can fire the rifle as fast as I can click, much the same if I start my own local server. However, if I join any foreign server, the limit seems to be about one shot every 1/2, 1/4th a second. About the same as my ping. Ergo, I can't use it. Any truth to my hypothesis? If so, any chance this could be fixed?
You can`t fire the NFHR as fast as you can click. There is a delay between shots. In the testing session we had a NFHR that was able to shot as fast as you can klick. It was overpowered.
There's a large difference in firing speed between when I host a server (Or go on an Australian one), and when I join one with a high ping.
Of course there is...it's because your latency is incredibly different, isn't it? As forgiving as empires is, it's not that forgiving with latency...
It's not forgiving at all when you're playing against people who can shoot straight. Oh sorry, that's 2.12 speaking.
That was my explanation to Mayama, as to that I 'can' fire as fast as I click, on a low ping server. Any chance of this getting looked at?
