Just a very tiny suggestion that could prove useful: An icon with the CV is placed next to the name of the commander, that changes in colour depending on how much health the cv has. So you can instantly see if your cv needs help or if you get ninjaed. And here's how I mean by the health: Yes my paint skills are great. Edit: Make it flash when taking damage.
It would be better if said icon was to the left of the current Commander indicator, and have five states: Green Yellow Red Flashing Red and Yellow Greyed out to correspond to the normal tank health interface view thing, and greyed out for when your team doesn't have a CV spawned otherwise A+ would support again
I don't think it'll be much use if you get ninja'd, and I think the current indicators fulfill their job already.
what, the hard to notice 4pixel wide icon that flashes when the commander is attacked, OR when he exits and leaves the CV? /facepalm
m00tant gave a compliment? OMFGZOR GTFO IT IS GONNA BLOW this would make the cv under attack message easier to decipher: i remembered when we got rocketsniped by a annoying deutch every 40 seconds...
Actually, if you're getting rocket sniped, chased by 5 light tanks, you're probably illiterate or blind. Or you have a really reallly realllllllyyy bad comm who isn't attentive whatsoever, and fails at dropping anti-ninja.
I have to ask... will there be an icon to show if the CV is flipped (Like an upside down icon)? Other than that, it's a good idea. However, is this only on the CV's main health, or also part of the armor? I guess that's up to the implementation.
Yeah, it would help a lot, even while haveing no sound, thats the main reason why you cant play empires without sound ... in my eyes
this would be good, the commander under attack thing doesnt work 1/2 the time anyway, and it really doesnt take THAT long to kill an unmoving vehicle when the comm doesnt notice he's under attack
This is a brilliant idea, and since developers are now in the mood of adding minor alterations to the GUI, this should surely be implemented!
