Erlenmeyer With Leaf Symbol [ ] The armour icons look good but ill never be able to associate them with the corresponding types , bad memory an all, unlike the engines ones theres not enough graphical representation........ maybe more like this?, dont know how small the letters could be made and still see them ingame? if you dont like covering the icons mabbe make the border something like this?
Some simple script editing (nothing too invasive) and putting them in the right directories will work. Remind me of this when 2.0 comes out
that is really great! except that comp should be black bordered, not brown. message to mighty K: what are you looking for in icons? more serious? different style? They're (in some form or other) definately a good addition to the game. I don't even think i should put IMO at the end of that, because i can't see how it would be bad.
I agree. When you have that kind of armors in the list with borders, names, costs and weights, they just look messy. I like the way how the armors are without borders. They are enough different compered just to that one armor icon which you have now. You have to look to the names and in my opinion even now it is easy to see which one is which. When icons with different colors are added in, in my opinion, they will be even more easier to separate at each other. I can't see any need for borders.
Right here they are, lol Just copy and paste 'materials' and 'scripts' into your empires folder and it'll work. To go back to the original files, just copy over the same folders, but taken from the 'ORIGINAL' folder.
Doggetti and Kylegar are working on new GUI that will have new engine icons. The work is in design phase. I don't remember if that screenshot have been posted already or not.
that DOES look good. If thats just concept art, i suggest you make it so that when you have the list of engines/armours, you click one and it becomes highlighted, instead of all the dragging and dropping. this way you can't not have an engine fitted.
ah the scout gets a walkie talkie as icon, hmm could that be a hint on the new skills and stuff he gets Suggestion: give it some color like dunno for every techtree and stuff
I hesitate to say this but, instead of white bordered boxes, we could have blue for BE and red for NF? Or possibly for all menu boxes instead. But that's just a thought, because either way I like it
A skin for each team would be great. Especially for future UI customization. Though, right now there's a metric TON of small images being used to make the vgui. It makes customization something of a pain. Would optimizations to the complexity of the vgui be too much to ask? (It might also reduce download size.)
