Went on sale this week (36% off) and released a big update today. http://store.steampowered.com/app/222880/ Edit: Just thought it was worth saying that I am LOVING this game when you find some players that work as a team. There is a LOT more content than the mod contained. I hate to compare it to COD (ewwwww, doesnt play anything like it thankfully) but I would say theres easily as much MP content for a fraction of the price.
I always liked the ability to put your weapon on something for added stability, I always thought this should be added for the HMGs in Empires
Can of worms, ahoyyy I saw Insurgency, looked nice, but I'm not a fan of competitive games at the moment, so I'll pass.
I don't see the reason to get it when the source mod is still out and alive. It is a bit prettier, I'll give you that. I also see some night maps, which I don't remember in the mod. All the basic gameplay is still the same though.
its so good INSURGENCY IS SO GOOD FUCK COUNTER STRIKE GET INSURGENCY I love this game. The source mod doesn't have what this full retail release has. The difference between the mod chivalry and the retail release would be a good comparison for this. The source mod is good, but the 15$ version is better.

Every time empires forums says "oh try this game we can all play", what happens is we don't play together. Except maybe DotA but that doesn't count JPL was basically a HoN clan. Or "reloading" where it sounded like their throat was closing on them. Self-made voice overs are always hilariously bad.
Oh that's true actually, but I also have plenty of co-op pve shooters available already, I don't need to buy more and only play them a couple times. Also 15 bucks doesn't sound that appealing. Your queueing in payday 2 must be really bad though. Sure I got kicked the moment I joined a few times, but mostly any lobby that let me stay gave me a good time. The same rule as in PAYDAY is present, queue for overkill difficulty at your own peril. Also don't assume that stealth will work, ever . Then you'll rock it.
