Does anyone know how to set up a system where I can record gameplay and have a webcam record at the same time? Something like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6gWgoqsVsIw&list=FLo7wLOh_a4FE11fZUs_sLrw&index=1&feature=plpp_video What programs and settings would one use in this situation? I'd prefer a low cost or free solution lol. I havn't bought a webcam yet until I figure out or have an idea on how to do it
Why do you even think this is a good idea? I can assure you people will be more interested in the game than your face, if they will be interested at all.
I know some people use Dxtory for recording. I tried it but it lags a little bit for me. Quality is great though.
Dxtory does cost. I don't know about recording webcam either. This just records your screen. Dxtory also needs compressing properly, or at least setting up. 33 seconds of raw footage took up 4.66gb for me, which isn't even remotely viable for extended recording
I would love to use that to finally record a freetrack session Not me, but that would look way less retarded with picture in picture
MSI Afterburner, MJPG compression and set the quality to 95-90%. Record your webcam with some shitty software that probably comes with it and edit it in.
I learned that I should record separately on Audacity and match it up with footage. So I'd have to edit gameplay footage, webcab recording and audio.
Open Broadcaster Software is capable of doing simple composition i.e. your screen and webcam. It's free software that's currently in its early stages, but it already performs better than XSplit and it looks promising. http://obsproject.com/
I just downloaded from pirate bay and I'm testing Sony Vegas Pro 12. Not much problems as far as I am concern.
This is what I got when I used the patcher in the pirated file http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TyJDmH7HY_M&feature=youtu.be
